1. Sharon's out of town. We hadn't got that far in planning yet.
We're still working on Saturday morning, but at least we have Friday evening all set. Are you going to be there? If so, I'll see you there.
Keep checking here, or if you have any ideas, post away.

Do we want to stay in the Capitol Hill area or where?

I think we should try to keep it within easy reach of the
mall or Capitol Hill area. I suppose we could go to Dupont or something like that, too. When I get home Wednesday I can ask my daughter for some ideas of places easy to get to from where the march ends. If you figure something out before then, take it and run!

(I'm on my friend's computer now. I actually brought my laptop, but couldn't get it to work on her wirelss network. I hope it works at the hotel!)

7. Oh man, one of my best drinking stories is from the Irish Times
We got totally shit-faced but had such a blast standing on the tables and singing our hearts off. Of course this was back in the late 80s - I'm sure the place has changed since then.

9. When I was there I remember they were redecorating the place
everything looked like it was pulled out of a dumpster or built by someone working there.

I don't think I could ever survive another night like we had there but it was definately in my top 20 of favorite all time moments in a bar

11. I think I pissed off a few Irish blokes by telling them I'm like 75% English
But after kicking back enough beer & tequila it just doesn't seem to matter anymore

4. Do we know the march route, yet?
Last time I checked the site, it hadn't been posted yet. That could make a difference as to where we go, and maybe even where we meet Sat. morning.

5. AFAIK, the rallying place is still the same
On the Mall between 3rd & 7th. Where we go from there is anyone's guess, but I thought they wanted to surround the Capitol Building?

Anyway, there is always the Metro for quick transportation if necessary. :)
