I HAVE AN EXTRA TICKET TO THE INAUGURATION!
I managed to snag two seat tickets to the inauguration. I can not find accommodations so I am offering one ticket up for trade. I am not sure of my exact plans yet but I am thinking of going to DC for the whole weekend before the inauguration. If I do not stay the weekend, I will just come up Monday and spend the night. Either way, there are no places to stay at a reasonable price.

This is where you come in. I need a place to stay for a minimum of that Monday and Tuesday night. I may need a place to stay Saturday through Tuesday night. I hate to put restrictions on this but I am allergic to cigarette smoke so I can not stay in a smoker's house. I would prefer to sleep in a bed but will take a couch if need be. So we can make this work if you have a place or know of someone who has a place. It can also work if you know someone in DC who would be willing to put both of us up. You would get a seat ticket and I would have one.

Please help me find a place to stay.

Thanks!

2. I do not have them right now.
My congress critter's office told us they would be mailed to us on January Th. I was told they are seat tickets and we managed to get them because my father-in-law is a rather big contributor to the Republican Congress critter's campaign. They did tell us they will not mail them to us until January, though but I need to line up a place to stay. Hubby and I would both use them but we have little ones and someone has to stay home and look after them.

6. Thanks for the good luck but it is not needed any more!
A generous DUer has offered me a very cheap place to stay. I am very excited and now looking forward to the weekend more than ever. This is just too cool.
