Six protesters arrested in Hart Senate Office Building

Six protesters were arrested in the Hart Senate Office Building Tuesday, U.S. Capitol Police reported.

The protesters, who were carrying banners, were arrested shortly after 11:30 a.m. at the office building, located at C and E Streets in Northeast D.C.

According to a statement from spokeswoman Sgt. Kimberly Schneider, they have been charged with unlawful conduct — demonstrating in a Capitol Building and are currently being processed at USCP headquarters on D Street NE ...
