DC DUers need "boots on the ground" for Gannon/Guckert...
IMHO of course.

Incredible amounts of information have been unearthed so far. There are still many questions as to who Gannon/Guckert actually is. In "real life" as opposed to online life, these questions would be delved into by sending an investigator to interview people who may have information. This would include neighbors, former and current (Delaware & DC; old city directories and white pages available at libraries) former coworkers (auto painting business) miltary contacts (FOIA?) associates and friends (fraternity, gay bars in DC and Delaware)

Plan of action:

Delaware and DC DUers could sign up to do "boots on the ground" research. Perhaps gay DUers could help to shake loose information in the gay community at bars and salons. A place to start in DC i sto find out where he lives. Then maybe steal his trash, stake out his building, chat up his neighbors...

Lawyer DUers may be able to offer resources, especially lawyers who have done criminal representations. Ditto of prosecuters and former law enforcement who may be involved in private investigation.

1. General Accountability Office's David Walker can do an investigation
along with the earlier ones ongoing regarding propaganda and faux journalists ! Could it be that (in some roundabout way) Gannon/Guckert was on the government's payroll in any way ? And why, out of all the oddballs to call on in one of those rare WH presidential press conferences did Bush decide to call on Gannon/Guckert ?

Coincidence, serendipity ? I don't think so.

3. Somebody at a Randi Rhodes message board claimed to know him
http://www.therandirhodesshow.com/randirhodes/messageboards/index.php?showtopic=38434

I was in the same fraternity as him at West Chester University of Pennsylvania (and yes, it is a pat of PASSHE - Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education). I was there from 1999-2003, and he was the fraternity's alumni advisor. I don't know where the rumors of him being a financial planner, business manager, teacher and all of that came from, but in the time I knew him before he moved to DC, he never really had a steady job. We always had our suspicions about what he did - as well as his orientation, though personally I couldn't care less about that - since he always had money, but never seemed to be working. Makes the "escort" websites seem more plausible.

As to his education, he has a degree, but it is definately not in any type of journalism, since there is no journalism department at WCU. Communications degree possibly, but I think even that is a stretch. I believe he has a BS or BA in either education or liberal arts. he did enlist in the Marines after college, so his military background is legit. He did say that he would need security clearances for the DC job, and mentioned DOD subcontractor, something about contract negotiator. You can draw you own conclusions on what company he may have worked for. I would recommend checking with Tau Kappa Epsilon National Offices, as they know his background fairly well, since he was advising an undergraduate chapter. Also, I know another alumni that has always been in close contact with him is Jamie Goncharoff. Mr. Goncharoff is an attorney is West Chester, Pennsylvania, and a mjor prick, but shooting his office an email or phone call couldn't hurt to confirm what I told you.

5. If the company mentioned is a proprietary, as they are known, THAT
could prove to be the thread that unravels Gannon/Guckert.

6. BTW, the weird PsyOps element of our military encourages strange
behaviors in their black ops departments. It allows that plausible denial they find necessary. Research "The Finders" sometime, which Rep Charlie Rose looked into:

""The documentation I am referring to consists of articles that appeared in the Washington Post on February 7, 1987 and in US News and World Report on December 23, 1993 and January 4, 1994. The Post article discusses a child abuse case involving a group called ‘The Finders,’ a group that allegedly conducted brainwashing of children and used them in rituals. The investigation grew out of a situation in Tallahassee, Florida where two well-dressed men were discovered with six disheveled children in a park. The children had been let out of a van for exercise.

The two men told police that they were transporting the children to Mexico, where they would be placed in a school for brilliant children. This concerned me greatly, because of my own personal memories of the existence of such a school. I also recalled it being in Mexico, the city of Monterrey.

At first, it appeared that the Tallahassee situation was a police case involving child abuse and possible kidnapping. However, in its articles in 1993 and 1994, US News revealed some very disturbing facts. Charges against the two men had been dropped. None of the allegations were ever proved. The children were eventually returned to their mothers. In 1993, the Justice Department began an investigation into whether or not the case had been dropped improperly. There were allegations that the Finders was somehow linked to the CIA. When the Customs Service sought to examine the evidence gathered by the Washington DC police, they found that the police report on the case had been classified as secret and that the investigation had “become an internal matter.”

This makes no sense. It also makes no sense that, even after the case got attention from Rep. Charlie Rose (D-NC) and Rep Tom Lewis (R-FL), no progress was made. Marion David Pettie, the head of the Finders, denied all the charges. He claimed that the small organization does research and competitor intelligence for mostly foreign clients. The CIA claims that the only connection between it and the Finders was the fact that a firm that provided computer training to CIA officers also employed some members of the Finders organization."" http://www.unknowncountry.com/journal/?id=79

You may also look into Satanism in the military, especially with links to intelligence community. The Aquino case of strangeness:

""Then, the Aquino bombshell: "Well, then there was a man by the name of Michael Aquino. He was in the military. He had top Pentagon clearances. He was a pedophile. He was a Satanist. He's founded the Temple of Set. And he was a close friend of Anton LaVey. The two of them were very active in ritualistic sexual abuse. And they deferred funding from this government program to use this experimentation on children."" from http://educate-yourself.org/tg/satanicsubversionusmilitary29mar04.shtml

These kinds of linkages are scary for a reason. They work and people do get messed with, and the higherup links get dropped.

Whatever happended to Rep. Charlie Rose's investigations ? Or US New's 'follow ups' for that matter ?

7. OK but where does Gannon live now...
where does he hang out? What do his neighbors think about him? Have they ever seen mysterious comings and goings? Would a stakeout be worthwhile? Does he have a live-in lover? Lots of one night stands? Done any porno?

8. rosebud57, I think copies of his MILITARY RECORD are where you will find
what you are looking for. Anyone "serve" with him ? Or who he serviced on "active duty" ? This is beginning to look to me like that Lee Harvey Oswald revelation...you know, where they find that statement in his service record stating he contracted an STD while on active duty (and wasn't reprimanded, like any other soldier would have been).
