I don't know about the rest of you, but wearing a hat with a W on it grates on me. I don't care what font it is in, it is still a W.

2. Montreal couldn't support a team
it has been owned by the league as a whole for the last couple years

several cities bid on moving them, Washington won. The publicly funded stadium was a big part of it.

9. Washington Expose's Would have been better than Nationals.

DC is not happy about publicly funding the stadium either. People you might think would be pro ball club are not buying in on this.
They wanted to have fireworks after their home games and the neighbors complained. Now they will only have fireworks twice, Opening and 4th of July.

I might go for one game just to see what it is like, but pro sports are beyond my price range. Even when I had a good job the games were too expensive. That is a rich man's thing, now.

Isn't that funny, the pro sports that used to be all American is too expensive for most Americans and horseracing, the sport of Kings has come down in price so that it is a reasonable thing to do for a night out.

The W stands for Wegman's - the best supermarket in the DC area.

8. I go there a lot! Yes, I have noticed their W.
I hope to try out the new one in Fairfax, on Rt 29 soon.

One of the best grocery stores I have ever been to.

They are missing the (Richmond) Ukrop's "Dinner for Two" market, though.

The other best Grocery Store, Ukrops, packages a different complete meal each night. You can walk into a Ukrops store and pick up this one bag for $10 - $12 and have everything you need for a complete meal except your drink and your microwave. It says it is for two, but it can easily feed three normal appetites. It is great for working people with active lives who can't spend a lot of time in the kitchen in the evenings.

10. Cooking Courses at Wegman's
I took the pan searing cooking course at Wegman's. We did salmon and rib eye.

Great fun and good eats.

Try it!
