anyone in DC have experience with using Right of First Refusal
to buy an apartment? I'd love to hear about it, or a reccomendation on any good real estate lawyers/brokers you can reccomend, I jsut got the paperwork on my building and I'm trying to throw together some financing options yo buy it and take it condo myself (I have two other buyers for the condos already)

1. I believe if the landlord is selling a house
or condo, and there is a current tenant, that tenant has the right to purchase before anyone else

2. they've taken a contract
I have 15 days to match it. I am trying to scrape together the cash (only 20 year's salary!) from various sources. just looking for advice from anyone who's been there before. The place is, in my opinion, a steal.
