Illinois Governor: Blagojevich Now Up by 11

After trailing earlier in the campaign season, Illinois Governor Rod
Blagojevich (D) now leads Republican State Treasurer Judy
Baar Topinka by 11-points in his bid for re-election. The latest Rasmussen
Reports poll shows Blagojevich with 45% of the vote to 34% for Topinka.

I guess the Bush appearance helped Blagojevich more than Topinka. We need to get Bush to campaign for more Repubs.

While Governor Blagojevich has made mistakes, name me a first term governor that hasn't, I do not want my big blue state to go red again. Okay purple since she's a rino. What we have to do is to keep telling the pro lifers that they can vote for Topinka because she's rino. I also can't wait for the debates to begin. Topinka has zero charisma and once people see her less than pleasant facial expressions they will surely be turned off by her.

I do a great JBT impersonation involving sounding like I smoke 12 packs of cigarettes a day. She is incredibly obnoxious and WILL NOT win anyone over. It will be glorious to watch our ridiculously polished Gov shoot her down point after point.

I was nervous, given that he runs "business as usual" for Illinois, and since people aren't all that good at paying attention, i figured people would think HE was the only shady one! But, she's hipdeep in the muck too, and she doesn't have the charisma to duck the mud.
