These freeperish white power nuts have our whole area up in arms. They are going to march around in the county seat and have a barbecue. No doubt, hundreds of cops and counter demonstrators will be on hand. They should bill these women for costing the county so much money.

I tried to find out something about them, and had very little luck. However, I did find an interesting message board that talked about how to breach the board over at freeperville. The poster complained that he was banned whenever he tried to post anything about white power. He lamented this, saying that free republic was their "natural constituency." I will find the link.

Anyway, I will be keeping my ear to the ground about the so-called rally in Oregon, IL, our county seat. I was curious about it at first, but I will stay home and far away from it.

2. sad, sad people

so twisted. i guess i am a true bleeding heart liberal. i wish i knew a way to soothe the deep wounds that i know these people suffer. unfortunately, knowing what i know about human development, it was probably too late the day they were born. they were no doubt pickled in the womb. by drugs, alcohol, violence, fear, pain, who knows. sad waste of human potential.

3. Sorry, Mo, I'm not THAT good of a Liberal.

I simply can't muster much in the way of sympathy or even tolerance for these folks. Hate is hate no matter what name you hang on it.

They may have the right to march and do all those things the rest of us do, but I sure as hell hate the fact that my tax money has to go to PROTECT them while they are spewing a message of violence. Seems to me that it is a form of Darwinism that maybe we should just LET them protest.

For THAT matter maybe we need to issue permits for this kind of group march and require that everyone marching with them wear one so we ALL know who they are. Let THEM deal with the irrational hate 24/7.

They might be protected by our Constitution, and they may be protected by our social constructs, but it just feels wrong to me for us all to enable this stuff in any way. I want to be able to give voice to MY opinions, but I don't want them to be out there, I guess.

Yep, I'm a hypocrite and I know it.
