Any Illinois knitters who have time to knit blankets for orphaned animals? |

This group supplies the yarn and the instructions.
The "blankies" go to one of seven local shelters and will accompany the animal when he or she goes on to their "forever home."

leftover yarn in the closet. this sounds like a great idea. i got my pooch from the naperville humane society. i love her madly. and we surround her in blankies during the winter months--her bed is probably warmer than mine!
