But I would have given it to Ricky Hendon who actually ran for the post. Rather than just try to find a famous last name. She seems qualified in her own right though. But if her last name was Smith would she gave gotten picked?

Before Sheila Simon, the entire Democratic ticket was from just one county. That's politically idiotic and a disservice to the state. The party should have gotten behind Mike Boland in the primary instead of Turner. With a small boost in Chicago he would have beat Cohen.
