Who is going to Springfield for Governor's Day on Aug. 18?

I am going. I am not a county chairman any more, so I can't get into the dinner at the Governor's mansion on the evening of the 17th. I don't care that much. Blago had a very nice spread. Quinn is cheap. Given all the work that county chairs do, he could provide a nicer meal!

I will be there the 17th for some of the other parties, though. It is fun. But the real event is the brunch on the 18th. Al Franken is the keynote speaker. Who else is going?

1. a delegation from my ward is going. planning to go.

we usually get a bus and go in the am and return in the pm.
pat might feed the chairs, since it is an election year. if he is there next year, it'll be hot dogs.

I think we will be heading home after the brunch.
