Illinois Senator James Meeks withdraws candidacy for Chicago mayor.
And with the election board certifying that Rahm Emmanuel's residency question, that's pretty much it, imo.

2. My daughter was here today.
She lives in Chicago. She is very politically aware. She attends drinking liberally, and works at a law firm filled with active Democrats. I forgot to ask her what she thinks about the latest developments. She told me previously that Rahm does not have the support of the black community. Her boss agrees with that.
