I won't link the Illinois leader here, but I read an op-ed about how Hyde '06 is different than Crane '04 (:eyes:). Something for DuPage Democrats to push is the fact that Hyde (a hero among anti-choice people) has agreed to be the chairman of Ron Gidwitz’s exploratory committee for Governor. Gidwitz is pro-choice. Many people will be discouraged to donate to/work for Hyde if they know that. Spread it on, make this common knowledge.

Convention wisdom before 2004 was that this was supposed to be the last dance for Hyde and Crane.
