Michael Madigan has endorsed Dean for DNC Chairman

Just earlier this week I said Madigan doesn't seem like a Dean kind of guy. I will now eat crow.

I'm really gobsmacked. Who'd a thunk it.

Along with Madigan the other IL DNC'ers who endorsed the good Dr. are:

Iris Martinez, Marcia Garcia, Joseph Cari and Rev. Willie Barrow.

I'll eat crow along with ya Tweed. I never thought in my living life that Michael Madigan would go with Howard Dean.

Andy Stern (leader of SEIU), I believe there just might be hope for us Democrats yet.

5. That's a VERY 'weighty' endorsement.

I'm a little surprised, but not greatly; MM is one of the savviest pols in the State, and I think he sees in Dr. Dean some of the great things the rest of us see in him.
