Will be the 4th tallest building in the city upon completion. I kind of like it. :)

4. Oh my god, what a SILLY thing to say!
Normally, I would probably agree with you, but this building is tall for reasons of practicality in the city where real estate is hard to come by, extremely expensive, and has to be used to its greatest utility.

12. Take the building; turn it on its side; break it into four parts;
surround it with two hundred acres of parking, access roads; and move it forty miles west and call it a development.

That's the way of sprawl.

2. Ugh.
If there is anything I hate more than Trump, it is soul-less archetecture. Those seem to walk hand in hand. What a vulgarian.

3. That's pretty cool looking
I like how it somewhat evens out the Chicago skyline. I think it will be a good addition.

Now for Trump himself... He's an ass.

11. Well, the bottom stack is going to be parking
which ensures that there is going to be a large blank face to look at from the river and across the river.

Aside from that, it looks fine to me.

13. It makes the skyline more interesting
Though I agree that Trump may be kind of arrogant, but its a good sign that he is investing in Chicago. It means he (and his people) believe there is a fiscal future here. And that puts some comfort into my worries of the future of this city/State.

17. I'm reminded of a quote in The Onion
We could do a whole lot worse, you know, like we always do.

I like it. Very sleek, very modern.

19. A little bit of trivia for those interested...
When the Trump International Hotel & Tower is completed, Chicago will officially be the only city in the world with 5 buildings over 1,000 feet in height. :)
