http://www.suntimes.com/output/news/cst-nws-west23.html"The Town of Cicero witnessed a stunner Tuesday night as underdog Larry Dominick declared victory in a close race against Town President Ramiro Gonzalez, the hand-picked successor to imprisoned Betty Loren-Maltese.
With all precincts reporting, Dominick got 51 percent of the vote to Gonzalez's 49 percent. The margin of victory was just 157 votes out of 10,971 cast.
Gonzalez conceded defeat even though an unknown number of provisional, military and overseas ballots still must be counted. But one election official said those ballots were not expected to change the outcome.
In neighboring Berwyn, Michael Woodward, the Regular Democratic Organization's candidate, breezed to victory over three others in the primary, taking 55 percent of the vote. He'll square off against a Republican and two independents in the April 5 general election."
Victory!
