<snip> New DNC Chairman Dean hits Chicago

Howard Dean, the new chief of the Democratic National Committee, woos high-end contributors at a small event Saturday morning at the Chicago Hilton. It's quite the opposite of the $5-a-head funder he's keynoting in Lawrence, Kan., tonight.

<snip> Chicago Dem donor elites dine with Bayh

Sen. Evan Bayh (D-Ind.) is mulling a 2008 presidential run, and part of the process is meeting with big donors and fund-raisers to see if he can tap into their wallets and networks. Thursday night, Bayh hosted a small, intimate bistro dinner for prospects at Brasserie Jo on Hubbard Street.

1. Great article, I love how they talk about fundraising for so many people
Don't think I'll be making the Dean or Byah thing though. I could afford the Lawrence, KS thing, but not any downtown fundraiser.
