http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/recap?gameId=250225004"CHICAGO (AP) -- Kirk Hinrich and most of his young teammates have never been in an NBA playoff race. They're about to find out what it's like.
Hinrich scored 26 points and rookie Ben Gordon added 20 to lead the Chicago Bulls to a 97-90 victory over the Washington Wizards on Friday night.
Othella Harrington added 12 points and rookie Chris Duhon had 11 points and eight assists for the Bulls, who moved four games over .500 -- tying their season-high -- and clinched their third straight winning month.
"We just want to keep it going. A lot of us hasn't been in (this) position so far in our careers. How we handle it is going to depend on how well we do," Hinrich said. "Hopefully we can stay levelheaded and keep getting better."
Granted Larry Hughes and Juan Dixon are out, but this is a huge win for the Bulls. Washington is one of the better teams out there, especially in the East. Only 2 1/2 games back of the Cavs for the fourth spot in the playoffs, the 28-24 Bulls are in a great spot.
