At least we know where he stands on this admittedly symbolic vote.

Ald. Burton Natarus (42nd) was alert and resting this afternoon in a downtown Chicago hospital, having been rushed there after collapsing in City Council chambers.
"His family is with him, and he's pretty much acting like his normal self," Fire Commissioner Cortez Trotter said at a news conference outside Northwestern Memorial Hospital. "He said he was OK."
Doctors were keeping Natarus at Northwestern for observation, Trotter said. "You don't collapse for no reason, so the doctors need to look at him."
The 72-year-old alderman collapsed about 1:25 p.m. after delivering a speech in favor of a resolution calling for the immediate withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq. He had been standing near one of the exit doors to the City Council chamber, on the 2nd floor of City Hall, during the council's regular meeting.
