International Justice Day/ June 15: Monument Circle

On Wednesday, June 15, Indianapolis' janitors will take to the streets with a simple request: jobs with dignity. Your support, as a neighbor and community member, will make a difference. The march starts at 4:45pm at Monument Circle.

If you can't be there in person, there's still an important action you can take to show your support. The workers in the march will be carrying a banner with the names of their community supporters. Already, over a thousand people from Cincinnati and around the country have added their names to be printed on the banner. Join them in showing your solidarity.

The Indianapolis march is part of International Justice Day, a day of positive action against multinational corporations like Wal-Mart that are driving down wages and benefits. Workers and community members will be marching in Miami, London, Cincinnati, and San Francisco. Your name on the banner will mean so much to them, and to their fight. The banner is getting sent to the print shop on Monday at noon, so please take action now.
