Indianapolis police have increased patrols in an Eastside neighborhood as they try to determine whether a series of recent shootings are connected.
The latest attacks occurred Thursday and Friday, when two people were killed and three were wounded in three shooting incidents in the Brookside/Rivoli Park neighborhood.
Police have made one arrest and were arranging lineups to determine whether that suspect can be tied to other shootings, said IPD Sgt. Steve Staletovich.
At 10 p.m. Friday, 17-year-old Tyric Rudolph, Indianapolis, was killed when he and two other youths were shot at the corner of North and Gray streets.
Rudolph was shot in the abdomen and died at Wishard Memorial Hospital.
