Want to help Kerry-Edwards in Ohio?

Indiana is going to Bush as it has for every GOP candidate since 1968, but our neighbors in Ohio need all the help they can get to deny Bush such a critical state.

Here is an e-mail that I received that provides important information for Hoosiers interested in going to Ohio to help our Democratic ticket:

Dear Kerry-Edwards supporters,

Next weekend we will be making our first trip to Ohio to help the Kerry-Edwards campaign. As you all know, Ohio is a very important state that WE MUST WIN! This will be our first test to see how well this works. We need to have a strong showing to emphasise how active and organised IN Kerry-Edwards supporters are! Here is the information (some details still being worked out):

What: Travel team to Ohio

When: Saturday and Sunday, August 7th and 8th (leaving early Saturday morning and coming back Sunday evening)

Where: Dayton, Ohio

Meet location: 603 E Washington St., Marion County Democrat Headquarters.

Meet time: 8:30-9:00 AM

We are still working out the details of transportation (buses) and lodging with the National campaign and the Ohio office.

RSVP: Please let me know at this e-mail address as soon as possible if you will be traveling with us, so that we can make sure we have an accurate count for the transport and lodging.
