No thread on the Indiana tornados?

Would like to hear from anyone in the area. I'm originally from Evansville.

1. MSNBC & FOX giving pretty extensive coverage now.
It touched down at Ellis Park on old 41, sideswiped the new I-164, and went through Newburgh, south of Boonville, DeGoina Springs, and Gentryville. Most of the deaths were in a trailor Park (Eastgate).

2. Maybe because I was up until 5 AM worrying about the weather
They were predicting sustained winds of 60-70 miles an hour, which are in the tropical storm-Category 1 hurricane range.

I was very, very, windy where I live and I was afraid my roof was going to be blown off.

3. Originally from E-ville too. Reports from the family are that all damage
sustained along the tornado path, nearly 40 miles. Those areas hit by the Tornado are pretty well wiped out. The mobile home park on the South East side, I'm guessing you would go south on Burkhardt nearly all the way to the river, was destroyed. 200 people originally reported missing are all accounted for. 18 people dead in that trailer park. 4 people dead in a town just east of Boonville.

As far as Evansville the trailer park was the focal point of the storm. If the tornado would have went straight north it would have it one of the more densely populated areas of the East Side. Thankfully it did not.

I came here thinking I'd find a thread too. Nothing.

You might check out 14wfie.com for pictures and stories.
