As the United States weighs in on how to tackle this international dilemma, Sen. Richard Lugar, R-Ind., chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, and Sen. Evan Bayh, D-Ind., member of the Armed Services and Intelligence committees, join me to discuss what sanctions the United States is exploring and the possibility of any military action. Our headliners will also give their views on the increasing calls for Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld's resignation.

On our roundtable, Time magazine's Joe Klein, ABC News consultant Donna Brazile and ABC News' George Will join me to debate the week's politics.

***Retired Gen. Richard Myers will now join George Stephanopoulos on "This Week."*** Retired Gen. Richard Myers is the former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.......he supports Rumsfeld. UGGH!

It ought to be interesting. I have no idea what any of them will be discussing exactly. I know for myself I would encourage Rumsfeld to retire and lets put in someone who has a better able to get the job done and our troops home before 2008.....like Clark.

"I don't think it's our place in the military either in uniform or when you retire to make those judgments. That's not the military's role. They certainly can. It's their right to do that, I just think it's inappropriate," Myers told Fox News.

Clark, who ran for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2004, disagreed with Myers.

"It's more than appropriate, it's their responsibility," he told Fox news. "I believe Rumsfeld hasn't done an adequate job. He should go."

executed by this administration.

3. or if Bayh will explain why a year after the invasion,

and after Bush affiliated Chief weapons inspector David Kay said that not only were no wmds to be found in iraq, there was absolutely no evidence that any wmds had been iraq before the invations, but Bayh went on national TV (spring 2004) and said that he was certain there were WMDs, and that they would be found.

Bayh jumped from centrist (that I could deal with) to center-right/bush appologist (based, I assume on presidential candidate strategists advice) - shortly after 911. It is sad, now it is more with surprise and pleasure that he votes with dems on big issues (such as medicare) because he has lurched right (rhetoric and voting) passed where he was a gov in Indiana - on a number of issues.

My skeptical self thinks that if he thought pulling a Zell Miller (think RNC performance) would get him more votes on a potential presidential run - that he would be out Zelling Zel, in a fast minute.

4. Bayh voted with Bush

most of the time until he announced his candidacy for Prez. Now it seems he has had a change of heart.

5. Bayh has never

liked Bush or his administration. He's been calling for Rummy's resignation for over two years. You must be avid Indystar readers. Pay attention.
