What Hoosier politicians have lied about asbestos in the state?

Specifically, who has tried to stonewall the fact that when Market Square Arena was imploded in a demolition, the cloud of dust contained asbestos fibers?

This is exposed in a new book, It Took My Breath Away, by Hoosier author Andrew Robbins.

I met the author, Andy Robbins, when I represented a group of Goodwill workers that had been contracted for janitorial work at a DOD facility in Indiana. The workers had been exposed to asbestos in a building being renovated. There are many buildings with asbestos, from schools to office buildings. Asbestos can be found in insulation and in the dry wall of older buildings.

Robbins traces the handling of asbestos that was "removed" from Market Square Arena (where the Indiana Pacers used to play) to the Bean Federal Building (where Robbins used to work). Robbins also discloses the location where the asbestos was dumped, near a residential neighborhood.

The Congress tried to pass legislation to protect the asbestos producers from lawsuits, can I mention Halliburton. Robbins discusses this and other issues in his book. Robbins is currently working on a book about genetically modified foods.
