Senate President Garton is Trailing
8:37 p.m. - Sources close to the campaign of Senate President Robert D. Garton believe he is facing defeat. The sources say that Garton is trailing Columbus accountant Greg Walker by almost 100 votes in Bartholomew County, while Walker was rolling up about a 500-vote lead in Johnson County. 1. This is spectacularly huge.
Walker is so extreme, that a decent dem opponent will have a chance to beat him. Garton's defeat, I would bet, has more to do with dissatisfaction with the compliancy with "my man mitch" than it does with Walker - which, if true, is a big harbinger for the fall general federal elections if the current sentiment continues. Wow!
