Anyone wanna buy some Klan stuff?
There's an auction going this weekend where you can do just that! Seriously!

This just stuns me.

1. Not surprised
in the description they say historical collectibles, Who would collected that stuff besides a museum that isn't a racist?
Anyways I remember going about 15 years ago, to the indoor flea market that use to (maybe still is) be ran at the Indiana State Fairgrounds every couple of weeks. I remember a stand being there at least one time that really stood out to me in a negative way because it sold ceramic KKK figurines and magnets of black face characters eating watermelon.

2. Oyoyoy
I have a sneaking desire to go to this auction this weekend to see what kind of genetic flubs show up to bid on KKK stuff. But I won't, because I expect there is a real chance of violence breaking out.

3. Genetic Flubs LOL
Awesome!
estimated prophet you just made my day! I've got a new phrase added to my vocabulary thanks!

I've see the kind when attending auctions in the past, these are the kinds of people who if you made a check list of all the negative stereotypes of rural people the page would be filled with checks after evaluating them.

They are the reason I don't attend auctions anymore. I would go to an auction and mind my own business, I'd look around at the stuff up for auction and they would be 2 feet behind me trying to figure out what I was going to bid on. Sometimes they'd approach me and ask dumb questions about something or an item to see if I knew it's value. Most of the times it was easy to figure out they had no interest in the item, they just wanted it so you couldn't have it, I don't know why they would do this I guess it's a hobby or games rednecks play. They'd try to be slick and out think me when bidding on an item, it's hard for them to do when their IQ is the same as their pant size. If I won they be pissed and out for revenge, crazy that's when they tried steal the item before I even paid for it. The auction companies are professionals and have seen this happen a thousand times, so their ready every time when one of these "Genetic flubs" tries to pull this crap. That's when the violence breaks out LOL.

I won't link to the website but if you google "Ken Taylor" Klan there is a link to kkklan.com with pictures of a rally in New Jersey where one Ken Taylor from indiana was sworn in as Imperial Wizard.

WTF?

5. I have no idea where Carbon, Indiana is
am glad I haven't yet discovered it while "wandering" Indiana (play on an eighties license plate that was even uglier than the current one - and used the phrase "wander indiana" - when I moved out of state folks thought it meant that I had come from a town in Indiana called "wander".) Not to demean an entire community (per Carbon) - but the guy clearly feels comfortable (as in no social discomfort) for marketing Klan memorabelia there... so I don't mind not yet having found this pocket of our hoosier state.

7. 1927 Thompson A-1
This is the semi-automatic version of the famous Tommy-gun seen in endless gangster movies. According to Wikipedia it's classified as a machine gun and can be converted to fully automatic by replacing a few parts.

8. Yes
There's a company making a semiauto version now. The semiauto isn't classified as a machine gun under the National Firearms Act though, and those replacement parts will be impossible to get without going through a lot of federal permitting and a great deal of expense.
