Democrats' dinner to feature Bill Clinton

Former President Bill Clinton will be the keynote speaker for the Indiana Democratic Party's Jefferson Jackson Day fundraising dinner.

Tickets for the June 20 event are $125 per person, or $1,250 for a table of 10, and can be reserved online at www.indems.org

It would be nice, though, if we could meet with our current and former representatives without having to fork over a wad of $$$$ first. I don't know many people who can afford to plunk down that much cash with the economy the way it is, however.

I am watching my budget closely. I wish I could go, but can't afford even the cheapo seats.

3. For those that are Party Patrons (Contribute at least $10 monthly)

would pay $100 instead of $125.

Party Patrons receive a 20% discount to all State Party fundraising events, including the annual Jefferson-Jackson Day Dinner, IDEA Golf Outing and Holiday Gala.

The state and county party split the contribution.
