Just got back from demonstration in South Bend

Some astroturf group called "NW IN Patriots" (LOL) was protesting health care reform outside of Rep. Joe Donnelly's office in South Bend. We headed out to stage a counter protest. The "other side" took up one corner and we ... took up the other three! It was raining, but everybody was prepared with umbrellas and ponchos. Families were out there together. Everybody was smiling and having a good time. We got TONS of support from people driving by. "Public Option" signs dominated.

I feel SO GOOD now! I feel like we got the wake up call we needed. We are the majority and we are going to do our best to get our voices heard! We won the election, but now the real work starts. I had forgotten that, so I can thank the fearful idiots out there for reminding me! :) Woo hoo!
