Pence decides not to run against Bayh
http://www.wishtv.com/dpp/news/politics/pence-decides-against-challenging-bayh

<<He cited two reason, “First because I have been given the responsibility to shape the Republican comeback as a member of the House Republican Leadership and, second, because I believe Republicans will win back the majority in the House of Representatives in 2010.”<<

I'm kind of surprised at this, even though he seemed lukewarm about it from the start -- I thought he was just posing.

1. He either thinks...
he's going to be Speaker of the House or that Lugar's seat will be easier to win upon his retirement (whenever that might be).

3. Lugar will turn 80 in 2012
and Obama will not carry Indiana again in 2012 unless pig grow wings and become eagles. I doubt that Lugar will run for reelection in 2012 so Pence should be a shoe in for Senate.

I would not be surprised to see Bayh run against Obama in 2012, unless a Republican landslide is in the tea leaves.

4. Do they have a Dem to run against Bayh...
I am so sick of this ass. He sits on all of the rightwing shows and yuks it up with the rightwing. Yesterday,he was laughing and talking about Dems and saying we should come to our senses and be happy with all of the bull he puts out.

He needs his ass kicked out he is another LIEberman..What in the hell are the Dems doing they sure aren't recruiting and seems that if they do they recruit more Repugs.
