4. My sister lives in Ohio.
She's happy they are a red state - an IHOP is opening up down the street from her house.

Someday, when PA changes its stripes, we'll get an IHOP too.

Somebody please tell me when the next flight for Canada leaves.

3. We the purple. There are no red states. I think even Utah has some blue.
Hang in there buddy, from a barely-blue state.
:hi:

5. hi...nice to hear from a fellow 'true blue' red stater.
Did I say that right?

Don't know the odds where you are, but here they range a little more than 7 out of 10 are devil red. With those odds, I've taken to staying home a lot and mingling with those I know I don't have to be guarded in everyday conversation. (As I find those of red persuasion to be a bit touchy when you speak the truth)....

6. HELLO FROM FLORIDA
THE BLUE STATE THAT HAS BEEN FRAUDULENTLY 'REDDENED' FOR TWO ELECTIONS IN A ROW - DOES THAT GIVE US SENIORITY??

7. Doing okay
Here in Iowa we were so purple that I cannot admit we are red. If all provision ballots counted then we would be blue. We just had a repuke law in the absentee ballot law that made a lot of absentee votes not count and become provisional. If the Kerry campaign needed Iowa's electoral votes, I think they could get them in court. I don't know that they care to make the fight for the history books.

8. Greetings from east central Indiana
Still in shock. Maybe not as bad as I was after 3 November, well at least I'm no longer in the foetal position!
I have to take everything one day at a time.

9. I have my own kind of therapy
I grieve one day, and the next I clean up and get ready for the next election. It's the only way I can handle it

10. Yep
I figured we'd be called for Bush at 6:01, what pisses me off is Bitch Daniels winning by half a million votes. And some various local shenanigans pulled by the Republicans in state legislature races around here.

11. The Lesson of IN is an Easy One
Become Republican. For then you will be free to do what you want. Such as turn a record surplus into a record deficit, make fraudulent representations of the price of legislation, and get involved with shady utility deals. These are but prerequisites to the fast track to the Governor's Mansion. Alternatively, you could start a fraudulent war, earn the worst economic credentials since Hoover, go on vacation while the worst attack since Pearl Harbor occurs and you're more presidential than ever. In the end none of this mattered as long as you have never been to Europe, never actively served your country in combat(like the treachorous Kerry and McCain), advocate uzis for children, forbid homosexuals the "institution" of marriage, and support executing the retarded that do not support the GOP. Well, it should at least be interesting. I'm the kind of guy who can't help but stare at a car wreck.
P.S. If anyone needs a political strategist I have an ingenious platform centered around snorting coke with hookers, burning books, and committing acts of violence on the homeless. We can't lose as long as there's an (R)behind your name.
