West Lafayette - Next month's Indiana State Fair will include a Purdue University science lesson tackling the hot topic of climate change.

Fairgoers visiting the "Altered Earth" exhibit can learn how humans are contributing to climate change and how they can help reduce global warming.

The display will explore climate, weather and global warming with the "Climate Kids."

Purdue agricultural events coordinator Danica Kirkpatrick says Purdue will sponsor a total of 10 family friendly exhibits at the fair. Exhibits include lessons on robotics and learning how to figure out what various animals eat just by examining their teeth.

Kirkpatrick says Purdue's exhibits will bring the findings and knowledge of Purdue's researchers to the public.

1. K&R
I wouldn't be surprised if climate change deniers demanded their own exhibit, together with fossilized human footprints side by side to dinosaur tracks.

3. I remember
when the dinosaurs had their own barn at the fair and you could get "BrontoBurgers" at the stand by the entrance.

4. The Indiana Chamber of Commerce will likely organize protests against the exhibit.
The C-of-C is really nasty here.
