This week's activism events in Indianapolis
On Thursday, 8/19/10 at 6:30 p.m. the IMCPL board will meet at the central library downtown, 40 E Saint Clair. This is the meeting where the budget cuts will be announced. Folks are encouraged to attend and show solidarity with the library workers and AFSCME local 3950.

On Friday, 8/20/10, there is a diversity rally at the City Market downtown from 5:00-8:00 p.m. to counter the visit of fascist Phoenix sheriff Joe Arpaio. Arpaio will be speaking to a crowd of ultra-right Republicans (redundant?) in Plainfield as part of a fund raiser.
