please join us, and help out if you can.

check out Musicians United For Progress:
http://www.mufp.org

Musicians United For Progress is a grassroots organization made up of fans and members of the Iowa local music community with the goal of using the power of entertainment and music to educate and raise awareness of issues that affect all of us, punk or polka, rich or poor. MUFP intends to spread the word and advocate for causes and candidates that will represent the concerns of the music community and younger voters in general. Sure, being involved in causes and politics isn't always considered "cool." Nonetheless, it doesn't mean that the social and political issues aren't important. Being part of a movement isn't easy. It never has been. The thing about MUFP is that you don't have to be an overly political band in order to make a difference because our strength is in numbers. All that you have to do is be interested and ready to rock.....(more)

Please join if you are a musician, or just are a fan of local IA music. ALSO, please forward this on to ANYONE who you think might be interested.

We're hoping to put out a sampler disc w/ music and messages from people like Kerry and Art Small, not to mention other campaigns that want to be on board.

please drop me a line for any questions! Thanks!
