Under the idea of regional primaries - allowing each state to go first in an open cycle - it will be 400 years before Iowa goes first again x(.

Maybe Seth Jr's great-great-great-great-great grandkids will have the opportunity

1. Well I guess it was good while it lasted, right?
With all of the chaos/jumping we've witnessed this cycle, the party is going to be more than ready for a change...and since big money won't be hindered by regional nominating contests, I don't suspect there will be a lot of resistance to these changes being put in place.

I guess I'll start planning to travel to Illinois/Minnesota/somewhere else to catch an airport press conference if I want to see a candidate in 2012.

Are you still a deaniac?

3. Let me tell you, Seth, each day it's getting more difficult!
Problem I see with his plan is what is going to stop the chaos that we've seen this cycle? And..how do we choose who will be 1st? AND how the hell will any candidate who isn't a brazillionaire move forward when NY/CA/TX/FL are the 1st?

2. To be fair (sort of)
Something does need to be done about the nominating process. I would suggest that for starters, no candidates be allowed to campaign two years or more from the actual election. And Iowa and New Hampshire could remain first but maybe other states could be a week or so behind. Start the whole caucus/primary process later, maybe in February. And another suggestion, which may be nearly impossible is just tell the media that we do not need them to make our choice, we have brains of our own. We can make up our own minds. Just a couple of suggestions from someone who is fed up with all the bickering. One last thing, the anti-Iowa people are always going to be out there, so whether we are first, last, or somewhere in the middle, they will hammer us. So I say screw 'em all.

5. And a big FUCK YOU to you, too, Howard.
I supported Dean in '04, but this is bullshit.
