Krugman was GREAT! What a voice of reason |

Only about half a house. We sat up front and got there early. About 15 minutes before the show Krugman cam and sat by us. So I couldn't help but start chattering like I do. Nice, nice guy. His speech was fairly short with good interjections of funny lines. Then he took some good pretty good questions. All in all a great evening. I am guessing but I believe his appearance may be on IPR's "live from Prairie Lights" show this weekend. Saturday evening I think.

I am going to have to put a DU sticker on me so I can be IDed by other DUers. When Dems kept looking around for an answer to Frank Luntz, I kept thinking that this is the wrong thing to do. What we need is someone who can speak in simple language and show the proof. Krugman is the guy. And Luntz? Anybody even hear of him in the last three years?

3. I was there too - didn't even know about it until I saw your post |

the day before the event! Damn local NPR affiliate didn't do a very good job promoting it, as the first promo I heard was on my way home from work the evening the event took place.
It was well worth it - I just wish he had the chance to speak longer, or perhaps take more questions.
