CEDAR FALLS --- At a boisterous fundraising rally for U.S. Rep. Bruce Braley, Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama talked of bringing change to Washington.

The smell of pulled pork wafted in the air at the Rotary Reserve --- it was a "Bruce, Blues and Barbecue" event --- and the rhetoric at times took on the sharp tone of a general election political rally.
In urging to win back the presidency for the Democratic Party, Braley said, "Get your cleaning utensils out and your detergent, it's going to take a lot of fumigation to clean out the White House."
The freshman Congressman hasn't endorsed a candidate for president. John Edwards and Hillary Clinton appeared at similar fundraisers in Davenport and Dubuque earlier this month.
