It is January. It is Iowa. And we have tornado watches???

Just talked to my daughter who lives near Peoria. They had some pretty big storms this afternoon. Pekin had a tornado.
Is tornado season now January to November?

1. I'm in Burlington and we had warnings this afternoon and evening,

but they lifted them a bit ago. When you have the highs we've had the last two days, something bad usually follows. We almost hit 70 yesterday.

I fear a long, hot summer approacheth.
