Putting people and programs in place so that the next Pres can only remove or change them to a chorus of loud howls. Sounds like this guy is in the religious, right wing mold.
Well let's hope Harkin refuses to approve this guy. If he approves he will only be putting roadblocks in the way.
Perhaps a note to his office asking Harkin to not approve this guy would get some attention.
