Grassley made an appearance in West Liberty the other day. In response to a questioner, Grassley made grand statements on how great the prescription drug plan is and how much people love it. You can tell he doesn't have to deal with it.

There needs to be more accountability of these republicans. Or better yet some democrats who actually are representative of the people and not just big corporations. Speaking of representatives, there are the congressional elections coming up and Iowa's fourth district is looking to be William Meyers (D) taking on incumbent Tom Latham. This would be a great chance for us to do our part as Iowans to help widen the majority in Washington. Latham has been there for over a decade and has used every dirty trick in the book, so Meyers really needs our help!
