I got your message via e-mail and sent you a reply.

It has been really interesting here the last few days. A lot of celebrating and so far no major incidents. A few grenades thrown in Mitrovica in the North where the Albanians and Serbs are divided by the river Ibar, but that is not really unusual for the area. Overall a pretty quiet process so far and a cool opportunity to see history being made. The political wrangling that will follow will be just as interesting.

5. Mitrovica is definitely a hot spot..

but then again it has been since 1999. I was up there most of the day yesterday. It is bound to get worse before it gets better. I have some pics I would love to post, I am just too dumb to figure out how to do it here.
