1. Just had a conversation about Rants and their wedge issue today

but it was with someone I agree with. If it was someone I didn't agree with the conversation would have died aborning. For one thing I believe gays are people whereas the opposition doesn't.
Excellent article. Very thorough, although I believe she was too kind to Deace and Hurley who cames across to me as a truly odorous man. Also odorous is Rants.

Edit to add - do you really think the GOoPers want to win this? It takes away one of their wedge issues and a scapegoat for all of society's ills. I would like to think that the USOC would void such an amendment based on the equal protection clause. But maybe that hope faded in the Robertson/Alito disaster.
