Holy Crap -- I should not have visited

Turned my work in and had nothing better to do so I ventured into the larger DU forums to see what folks are discussing. Not surprisingly, I found several threads on Michigan/Florida. (No, I didn't get involved.) I also found something else that I was not expecting... not at all expecting to see here.

Most of you know that I'm not a Clinton supporter. Initially, I didn't think I'd support her. Then I had opportunity to meet her one-on-one and re-considered. Eventually, however, I chose a different hopeful to support.

Anyway...

I am floored by the overwhelming amount of purely sexist comments toward Hillary Clinton that are being made right here on DU by supposed Democrats. Ugly editorial cartoons... sexist language... overt nastiness.

I should have never looked. I thought we were better than this.

There are plenty of REAL reasons not to support Clinton. People should be discussing those.

2. Yep, it all seems pretty juvenile.

But not all that different than what is going on out in the "real world". I venture into talk radio every once in a while just to raise my blood pressure. Sort of a more immature version of GD-P. The same for the TV.

It's kind of depressing if you think about it too much. That's why I still drink against doctor's advice.
