I'd love to come to Iowa and visit sometime, though. And GDP is absolutely out of control, lol. Ah, the drama!

I think this is the first time I ever (knowingly) greeted someone in the Philippines.

13. Well, you missed the floods. |
|
I suppose that's something you would want to miss though.
On, my side of the state, Steve King is still an ass. :eyes:
And I should stop posting stuff online and get back to work. :hi:

Fortunately, my grandparents (CR) and mother (IC) were not impacted. And my daughter? She moved out of state with some boy who had better be treating her right. Word.

5. OMG! Straighten the house up! Maggie's back for a visit |
|
You are looking good Maggie. Are you eating well? Getting enough sleep? Sure have missed you. Are you able to keep up with goin's on? John McCain was a POW in case you hadn't heard. And Cindy McCain has poor family she can ignore. Barack and Michelle are doing fine if you need to know.

No f'n way.
I'm fine and still loving it here, eating lots of very interesting things. Taho is my fave, absolutely delicious.
I've been popping in from time to time but have had little to contribute. This time I thought I'd just let you all know that I miss you!

So it is rumored that you are in the Philippines. I plan to retire to the Philippines. Hope you are well and maybe, just maybe, will return to Iowa some time to fill (really bad pun intended) us in on the Philippines.

Not many rumors are true, but the rumor of my expat-ness is. Did you spend time in the Philippines? Come visit me! Retire!

14. Can't afford to retire just yet |
|
But when it happens, I have every intention of retiring to Cebu City. Never been there but am seeing a Filipina and we have discussed it. Also, one of my best friends spends three months a year there now. I suspect he'll be there full time once his wife is done working. Cecelia is from some province in the northern part of the country. One which starts with a "P" and I can't pronounce. But we still intend to go to Cebu City where she does have family. Ah...the Paris of the Philippines.
