And did I read somewhere that McCain and Palin are doing some rallies in Iowa? Boy if they are, I may attend. Someone please come up with my bail money after that.

2. Yay?!

Weird score. (I don't have a TV in my apartment, and I can't afford tickets for the games.) It's still a win for the Hawkeyes.

I'm hoping to see Obama or Biden in IC, but I don't think either will come here. I'm pretty sure McCain or Palin won't be here, but I'll have some fun if they come.

3. Saw it in today's paper

McCain/Palin are coming to CR on Thursday. I guess they are appearing in a hangar at the airport or some such nonsense. Tickets are required to attend. They are available at McCain's website. I ain't going as I have to work that day and am not sure if I want to waste my gas going up there anyway. If the QC Times (where I saw the article) has it online, I can't find it. I do know that Charlotte Eby had her byline on the story. I also figure that they are afraid to leave the hangar because people may actually (gasp!) ask questions about the multitude of lies they tell.

*snicker* Obama gave his speech spring of 2007, just after he announced his candidacy, at the Old Capitol with half of the Pentacrest filled with people, yet McCain and Palin are stuck at a hangar at the CR airport less than 2 months before the election. I love Eastern Iowa!!

As I don't have a car, I can't go and heckle the GOP. Darn! (CR is just a little to far to bike to from IC.) Oh well, I can heckle the GOP in the comfort of my apartment.

5. Glad Iowa won

I'm glad Iowa beat ISU. And maybe later this year we can go and bring Floyd back home from Minnesota.

As far as McCain/Palin visiting the state? Oh joy, just what the state of Iowa needs.
