How is your favorite local candidate doing?

I am hearing good vibrations down here in Muscy county. But have no hard data. Don't want to jinx anything.

1. I think my state rep is in for a fight

Cindy Winckler is my rep. here and a guy named Joe Sturgis is running against her. He is basically a one issue candidate; smoking in bars; but a lot of people are paying attention to him. He was (sort of) a Democrat and as far as anyone knows, is now a repub because of said smoking issue. He owns a well known establishment and his business probably isn't affected much by the smoking law, but a lot of people are listening to what he has to say when they are in there drinking.

2. AFAIK Rep. Bob Kressig and Sen. Jeff Danielson are fine

as well as Cong. Bruce Braley!!

Hoping for good outcome in Supervisor's race and Sheriff's race (outgoing Dem. Sheriff just endorsed rep. candidate :wtf:).

3. Ours always do fine. They are always in there for life like our

county officials since the repugs rarely ever run anyone against them.
