Nice poll numbers for Obama/Biden in W/CF Courier
http://www.wcfcourier.com/articles/2008/09/21/news/politics/doc48d5afd992170859261984.txt

All voters 53-39 Obama/Biden over McCain/Palin

Ind. voters 55-37 Obama/Biden over McCain/Palin

Can't find the poll to post here (maybe different Lee Ent. sites have it?) but it shows that Iowans weren't swayed by the Palin pick.

I am cautiously optimistic :7

1. You'll never see a Republican quote that poll
That's great news, and I hope it's a good sign for November.

But we'll never see the Republicans quoting that poll. They prefer the ones that are tied or show McCain a little bit ahead.

3. Are there ANY polls (real ones, I should add) in Iowa with McCain ahead?
Every poll I've seen lately has been Obama with a 10 point lead or greater in Iowa, except for the tie in that Big Ten poll which has every state it polled besides Illinois in the margin of error.

Anyways, this is yet another proof that Iowa is the bluest "swing state" out there!

2. I think I'm moving beyond cautiously optimistic to plain old optimistic!
I'm not to thrilled about the four pt MOE but it seems to mirror other polls about IA.

Certainly looks better than the 04 polling numbers:

I'm glad I don't live in one of the really close states. I'd be at my wit's end.

43 days to go! Let's hope we retain this lead! November can't come soon enough.

4. Here's a nice one:

CA 39% 53% 2% 6%
IA 44% 51% - 5%
MN 47% 48% - 5%

Click on each state for survey details. Totals may not add up to 100% because of rounding.
