1. Have not seen any polling

Talked with Dave tonight and he seems very confident. MM is pulling really working hard. Dave is also. I have not seen anything that would indicate he is in any trouble.

Dave is quite aware of how hard they are pushing and is working hard.
He was really amused by the odd "you are no senator Grassley" comment MM made the other night on the KCRG debate, especially since it came at such an odd place.

4. 2nd District is solid Democrat

The District is solid dem. National Republicans have not put money into the district because they don't have much money. It would be a shocker if Loebsack lost. If so, it would because people didn't think he did enough after the flood.
