A year ago the caucuses had just ended
That unknown Obama guy had derailed, for a short period anyway, Hillary's march to the presidency. Edwards disappointed and Huckabee put a huge chink in the McCain armor. Romney was also a major casualty.
A year ago, a guy could hardly get a post in it was so busy here.
Anybody here going to DC for the festivities? Will we have a set of eyeballs on the scene?

1. I know.. so much has happened in such a short time
When you think back, we sure have lived a lot of history the past 12 months. Maybe people are just exhausted and catching their breath :)

You could not get me to go to DC for all the tea in China as they used to say. That place is going to be a mad house..

3. The port-a-potty situation alone would keep me out
One for every 6,000 people. Good god.

5. Seems like a dream now.
Everytime I watched a 'year in review' I couldn't believe all we've been through in the last 12 months!

6. They ate all the shrimp we brought but we had some cream puffs
left. I notice, Debi, you didn't post on thread about the Apostolic Succession. I suppose I should have posted on your thread about cookies orwhatever that was.

8. I'm avoiding any subject that makes me think.
Round Nutter Butters is as serious as I get.

My brain will be back sometime soon (I hope).
