I've lost count of how many. A helluva lot. Iowa State third. They just can't beat the Hawks when it counts, can they?

15 in the Gable era. Correct? 2 for Zalesky. 2 For Brands. That's 19. I know Kurdelmeier had a couple. All '76 on.

3. A great coaching job by Brands.
Saturday's consolations will go down in Iowa lore. Looking forward to next years Metcalf-Caldwell match-up. Who isn't? Great for the sport.
